Bra-ha-ha Breast Cancer Fund Raiser Gets OCR Support
(Sept. 9, 2023)—OC Reilly participated today in the CRH Bra-Ha-Ha 5K walk. Thanks to Cameron E. Lester and her family and close friend, OCR was well represented. Participants included Cameron’s sister, Beki, 96; her father, Ken Powell, 99; and former co-worker and friend, Tiffany Prusia, 99. Also, they had a visit with the Tides baseball team mascot, RipTide! Proceeds from the Bra-ha-ha – an annual campaign in the fight against breast cancer, sponsored by the Chesapeake Regional Health Foundation – provide breast health services to eligible uninsured and under-insured community members.

OCR Joins Virginia Governor, Chesapeake Regional Health CEO at Launch Ceremony
(April 5, 2023)–Members of the OC Reilly team joined Virginia Governor Glenn Younkin, Norfolk Mayor Kenny Alexander, and Chesapeake Regional Health CEO Reese Jackson at a ceremony marking the launch of a new supply chain tool to assist health care systems in their operations. OC Reilly CEO Bill O’Connor and Director, Supply Chain Keith Dabbs attended the event, which attracted attention from health care suppliers and systems nationwide. “Our relationship with Chesapeake Regional Health is held in the highest regard, and we are very grateful to have been asked to accompany Reese and his leadership team at this important ceremony,” said Dabbs. Pine Richland Youth Center Benefits from OCR Support

OCR Fields Team for Chesapeake Regional Health Foundation Breast Cancer Run
(Oct. 17, 2022)–As part of its ongoing relationship with Chesapeake Regional Health Foundation (CHRF), OC Reilly fielded a team of 5K runners to participate in the organization’s “Bra-ha-ha Run/Walk.” The event provides free mammograms and related breast health services to eligible uninsured and underinsured community members in the Chesapeake area. OCR Helps Honor Chesapeake Regional Health CEO
(Sept. 15, 2022)—OC Reilly was proud to join in a ceremony recognizing Chesapeake Regional Health President and CEO Reese Jackson. The event honored Mr. Jackson as the Chesapeake Rotary Club’s as 2022 First Citizen of Chesapeake. (May 23, 2022)—OC Reilly will provide financial support to the Community of Wexford 2022 Golf Classic, which is being held to raise funds to help Blessed Francis Seelos Academy. The event, held at Connoquenessing Country Club, features a day of golf and camaraderie to support the Wexford area’s premier Catholic Elementary School.
Walk to Cure Arthritis Receives Support
(May 22, 2022)—More than three million adults and 12,000 children in Pennsylvania alone suffer from the pain of arthritis. The Arthritis Foundation works to fund research and treatment to offer relief to those individuals, with the annual “Walk to Cure Arthritis” serving as a primary fundraising event. OC Reilly has pledged to support this year’s walk at the Corporate Honoree level, and will field a team to take part in the event, held at Boyce Park, near Pittsburgh.
OC Reilly Continues Corporate Partner Membership with HCWP
(May 11, 2022)—OC Reilly has renewed its corporate sponsor membership with the Healthcare Council of Western Pennsylvania (HCWP) at the gold level. (April 30, 2022)—For 35 years, Pittsburgh’s North Catholic High School has held its Trojan Triumph Gala, with proceeds directed to help offset tuition costs for students in financial need. Veterans Group Receives Support from OC Reilly
(March 23, 2022)–The “It’s About the Warrior Foundation” has received financial support from OC Reilly for its 2022 Golf Tournament, scheduled for this August. The program offers a stable support system for local veterans in Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio and the Panhandle of West Virginia, to assist and empower post 9/11 veterans from the Tri-State area. “With a brother serving in the Marine Corps, helping our veterans is not only the right thing to do, but it is a personal mission as well,” said PJ O’Connor, Vice President of Client Initiatives at OC Reilly. “We’re proud to support IAWF in this way.”
OC Reilly Supports 50th Anniversary of Journalism at IUP
(March 23, 2022)–OC Reilly has provided sponsorship support to the upcoming 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Journalism and Public Relations Program at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. The Ireland Funds Receives OC Reilly Sponsorship Support

Filipino Medical Students Benefit from UERM Fund, Supported by OC Reilly
(Oct. 26, 2021)–Medical students in the Philippines are being assisted by a new “Study Now, Pay Later” fund established through the UERM Foundation, an association in that nation dedicated to developing physicians to serve its areas of underprivileged populations. The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the need for this private student loan program, with more than 90 medical students facing the possibility of dropping out of their training due to lack of funding. OC Reilly has donated to the UERM Foundation in the past to support its humanitarian efforts, and has done so again to help strengthen the loan program for medical students. “Our clients include individuals who have benefited in the past from the positive impact of the UERM Foundation,” said OC Reilly President and CEO Bill O’Connor. “It is incumbent on us, as good partners, to show our appreciation by helping to fund this organization and the good work it continues to perform.”
OCR Team Runs in Chesapeake ‘Bra-ha-ha 5K Run/Walk’
(September 11, 2021)–Members of the OC Reilly team participated in the “Bra-ha-ha 5K Run/Walk 2021,” a fundraiser to provide free mammograms and related breast health services to the uninsured and underinsured, along with enabling advanced breast health technology, at Chesapeake Regional Health. The company also provided sponsorship support at the Bronze level. OCR Senior Analyst, Erin Yeager, coordinated involvement with the cause, which saw fellow team members George Vunovic, Mick O’Connor, and Ray Clegg each participating in the run. Clegg finished with the best time among the OCR runners, finishing in just under 47 minutes. “Breast cancer screening is so vitally important, and should be easily available to all women regardless of their situation,” said Yeager. “Beyond having an enjoyable day finishing the course, all of us at OC Reilly are proud to support Chesapeake’s work to provide mammograms and continue its program to advance breast health in the community.”

Mon Health Medical Center ‘Appalachian Revival’ Garners Support from OC Reilly
(August 27, 2021)—OC Reilly will participate as a Platinum Sponsor of “Appalachian Revival,” this year’s fundraising theme for the 58th Annual Ball, hosted by the Mon Health Medical Center Auxiliary. Proceeds from the event will go toward the Progression Through Postpartum program, to help new mothers deal with postpartum depression, anxiety, and mood disorders. Mon Health is one of only 15 facilities in the U.S. focusing on the topic of postpartum depression. The “Appalachian Revival” event features the art, music, food, and recreation native to West Virginia. “We are fortunate to consider Mon Health as a longtime customer and partner,” said Vicki White, Vice President, Operations, for OC Reilly. “It’s our pleasure to provide meaningful support to this fundraising event, which will assist women deal with such a challenging issue.”
OC Reilly Again Supports Glimmer of Hope
(August 19, 2021)—For the eighth year in a row, the Dimond Family will host its Glimmer of Hope Golf Outing, to raise awareness and financial support for breast cancer research. This year’s outing is particularly meaningful, as the person for whom the event has been dedicated passed away earlier this year of breast cancer. OC Reilly plans to participate as a corporate sponsor, as it has done for a number of years. “We certainly extend our condolences to members of the Dimond family on the loss of their niece, Andrea,” said OC Reilly Vice President of Business Operations Vicki White. “Her loss makes the effort to help prevent and treat breast cancer through funding important research all the more important and imperative. More than $300,000 has been generated over this event’s history, and all funds raised remain in the Pittsburgh area. OC Reilly is honored to continue to play a role in this vital effort.”
O’Connor Completes Term on NCHS Board
(July 12, 2021)–OC Reilly President and CEO Bill O’Connor recently completed his second three-year term as a member of the (Pittsburgh) North Catholic High School Board of Directors. Over the course of his service with the Board, he has been able to assist in the growth of North Catholic, with increasing enrollment as well as the level of financial support from alumni and friends. North Catholic also was able to weather the Covid-19 pandemic successfully, remaining safely open. O’Connor said, “The time spent with my fellow Board members, faculty, staff, and students has been some of the most rewarding of my career, and I know North Catholic will continue to grow and inspire the leaders of tomorrow.”

OC Reilly Hits Home Run for DiMaggio Award
(April 19, 2021)—OC Reilly has offered support at the “Home Run” level to this year’s Joe DiMaggio American Icon Award, presented annually to remarkable individuals of worldwide recognition and influence. The eighth annual event will be held virtually on May 13 and will honor “Champions of Care” for their sacrifices in support of healthcare excellence and for dedicating their lives to the service of those in need.

Presbyterian SeniorCare Golf Outing Returns; OC Reilly Again a Sponsor
(April 19, 2021)–Following a year off due to the coronavirus, the Presbyterian SeniorCare Network (PSCN) will again host its annual golf event at Oakmont Country Club in May. OC Reilly has pledged to maintain its longstanding support of this fundraising event, which directly benefits the residents living at PSCN.
“Last year, we chose to repurpose our sponsorship donation to purchase personal protective equipment for the PSCN team to protect themselves and their residents,” explained Bill O’Connor, OC Reilly President and CEO. “This year, as we all emerge safely from the pandemic, we look forward to participating in the 25th PSCN golf outing and are happy to offer our ongoing support.”
OC Reilly Plays Integral Role in New CCHS Facility
(Feb. 15, 2021)–Work progresses on a new distribution center for Christiana Care Health System in Delaware. The facility, when opened in late 2022, will feature 178,000 square feet, more than tripling current warehousing space for medical and surgical supplies, along with providing a new location for the hospital’s pharmacy operations. Located in Newark, the distribution center will streamline process flow through a new Warehouse Management System providing more visibility and better control of inventory, improved RF-based reporting tools, and greater overall efficiency. OC Reilly is overseeing the design of the facility, ensuring its effective operations, creating new standards, offering retraining to staff, and coordinating inventory control systems. Reimagined Heart Walk Gets Boost from OC Reilly
(Sept. 23, 2020)–The Annual Heart Walk, led by the Pittsburgh Chapter of the American Heart Association, will take on a unique flavor this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as supporters will take part in their own locations and celebrate together virtually. One thing hasn’t changed, however. OC Reilly once again will step up as a key sponsor of the November 14 event, with company President and CEO Bill O’Connor also serving on the executive committee led by Duke Rupert, Chief Operating Officer of Allegheny General Hospital.

NCHS Golf Outing Sports OC Reilly Participation
(Aug. 31, 2020)—A foursome from OC Reilly took part in the 2020 Trojan Open Golf Outing, an annual event held at Olde Stonewall Golf Club in support of North Catholic High School. This event has received financial support from OC Reilly for many years, along with fielding a team of golfers to participate in the daylong series of activities.

Arthritis Foundation Sees Rise in Demand; OC Reilly Steps Up to Support
(June 26, 2020)–With onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, demand for information and services provided by the Western Pennsylvania chapter of the Arthritis Foundation has increased dramatically. As such, the group finds itself in need of additional financial support from area individuals and organizations. OC Reilly, as a longtime supporter of the Arthritis Foundation, again has stepped up with a gift. “Record numbers of requests for information online and by calls to the Arthritis Helpline demonstrate the value of services provided by our friends at the Arthritis Foundation,” said Bill O’Connor, OC Reilly President. “We’re proud to do our part to meet the needs of people and families dealing with arthritis at all times, but especially during this pandemic.”
OC Reilly Sponsor Status Maintained for Mon Health Classic
(June 8, 2020)–OC Reilly is proud to serve as a Chair Sponsor of the 21st Annual Pete Dye Classic Golf Classic, benefiting the Mon Health Medical Center Foundation. ‘Glimmer of Hope’ Annual Event Receives Support from OC Reilly
(June 3, 2020)–-For the seventh consecutive year, the Dimond Family plans to host its Glimmer of Hope Golf Outing, to raise awareness and financial support for breast cancer research. Once again, OC Reilly plans to participate as a corporate sponsor. “It’s especially rewarding to support the Dimond Family as it continues to help prevent and treat breast cancer through funding important research,” said OC Reilly Vice President of Business Operations Vicki White. “All funds raised remain in the Pittsburgh area, and more than $300,000 has been generated in the prior six years of this event.” Advanced breast cancer screening equipment and advancements in drug therapy have been funded by the program to date.
Presby SeniorCare Sponsorship Shifts to Providing PPE
(June 3, 2020)–Given OC Reilly’s long-standing business relationship with Presbyterian SeniorCare Network (PSCN), the firm usually offers sponsorship support to the annual golf event at Oakmont Country Club, which directly benefits the residents living at PSCN. This year, however, the COVID-19 pandemic led to the golf event being cancelled. Nonetheless, OC Reilly – determined to assist the long-term care facility during the crisis – chose to repurpose its sponsorship donation to purchase personal protective equipment (PPE) for the PSCN team to protect themselves and their residents. Sharron Kaczynski, CFRE, Development Director for the Presbyterian SeniorCare Foundation, wrote in her recent letter to OC Reilly, “We are so very thankful for your support.
