(December 1, 2020)–To say that 2020 has been an unusual year might be a laughable understatement.
We all have shared the upheaval of a global pandemic, social unrest in the streets, a raucous election, and the disruption of nearly every regular routine at home and at work.
But from such sources of disturbance can come fresh insights, innovative thinking, and a new and improved approach to use while moving ahead.
Among our team at OC Reilly, we have recognized and recommitted to a core responsibility as a business to make sure we are practicing safe habits both in and out of the workplace. This duty was never forgotten or minimized, but it has been elevated to its proper place as a primary commitment – to keep our staff, our customers, and all of the families to whom we return every evening, safe and healthy.
The process of returning all of our onsite operations and ongoing customer outreach to full strength has been every bit as carefully and safely practiced. We intend to stay at a normal pace of business while making the right adjustments to ensure the health and safety of our employees and customers. We are grateful to be in a position that allows us to stay active and productive.
Perhaps the most important lesson taken from the experience of 2020, however, comes in being reminded once again of how much the relationships we have established and cultivated with our customers means to us.
A year ago, no one could have ever anticipated the roller coaster ride that awaited us. But here we are, a little battered and bruised maybe, but still standing. And that is 100% attributable to the faith, trust, and confidence you have placed in our team.
They say hindsight is 20/20. They may be right. But to the team at OC Reilly, the year 2020 has given us a stronger sense of foresight. To a future built and sustained on strong relationships that we pledge to continue building and expanding.
